YOUTH-LED EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
Resiliency 4 Recovery, with funding from the Oakville Community Foundation, held the 5th Annual International Overdose Awareness Day of Halton on August 31st 2018. This event focused on prevention and remembrance through guest speakers with a candlelight vigil. Through this event our community came together in a stigma free and safe environment, bringing individuals closer together in healing to remember friends and loved ones.
This has been a really rough Summer for R4R and we find ourselves taking a step back to be able to move forward. Through a serious of very discouraging events we lost our funding to the church of the Incarnation and we find ourselves trying to fundraise just to keep the group going.
However, we decided we would like to have fun, so please come and join us on Saturday November 10th at our Fundraiser being held again at Maplegrove United Church!!!!
